| Specially selected from the vineyards of 18 families, whose plots are situated directly by the River Umia in the DO Rias Baixas, these Albariño grapes show excellent varietal character and minerality. This amazing value wine won the best Spanish white in its price bracket at the New Wave Spanish Wine awards in 2009 and set to become a leader in its class. The winemaker is Pablo Ibañez, who is also the oenologist at the renowned Bodega Valdamor. The name Castrocelta refers round stone houses of the ancient Celtic settlements that are dotted around the region.
