  Alto Moncayo
  Campo de Borja

Since Campo de Borja acquired DO status in 1980, it has been progressively acquiring an identity of its own. Its wines are generally well-made, full-bodied and dense, with clear, fruity aromas and have found a niche at the entry level of the market. And then there is Alto Moncayo, a joint venture between American importers Jorge Ordoñez and Dan Phillips who came across some of the oldest vineyards of Garnacha“de monte” (of the mountain). They then hired the well known Australian-based winemaker Chris Ringland as their vigneron. The fantastic grapes and the experience of Chris Ringland working with this archetypal Spanish variety inspired the style of the wines: super concentrated, refined power with a highly polished finish.
