Viña al lado de la Casa is made and owned by Bodegas Castaño and Vila Viniteca. The Castaño family has dedicated their lives to winemaking for generations. In the mid eighties they began to invest their efforts into making high quality wines. Today it is one of the most innovative and successful wineries in the area.
The property is located 700 metres above sea level, and due to a microclimatic phenomenon, rain falls here very seldom throughout the year. Red grape varieties grown include Monastrell, Garnacha, Tempranillo, Merlot, Garnacha Tintorera and Cabernet Sauvignon.
