Very much a family-run enterprise, with Jean-Claude and Marie-Chantal Courtault , their daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Vincent Michelet all taking central roles, this 17 hectare domaine was founded in 1984. The wine feature regulary at the most prestigious award ceremonies, such as Guide Hachette and Concours Generale. The Chardonnay grapes were grown on South and South West facing slopes on the classic Chablis terroir made up of kimmeridgian clay and marine fossils, which add the minerality for which the wines are famous. A new addition to the list, we love the style - very pure but with good weight - and the value it represents.
