Viñateros! is a one-day wine trade event celebrating Spanish artisan growers who work with minimal intervention in the vineyard and the winery to make authentic wines reflective of their respective regions and wine cultures.

Seven UK-based importers, led by Indigo, have teamed up to bring an exceptional group of winemakers to London for a groundbreaking tasting. Between us we have invited 50 growers from 26 different Spanish regions to pour and present some 250 wines to sommeliers, wine buyers, restaurateurs and journalists.

Indigo is proud to be able to bring such a large number of our fantastic, innovative producers to London for this tasting: 4Kilos, Barco del Corneta, Bodegas Bentomiz, Bodegas Marañones, Casa Castillo, Celler Pardas, Cellers Joan d’Anguera , Colet Vins, Coto de Gomariz, Daniel Landi, Envínate, Escoda-Sanahuja , Familia Nin-Ortiz , Fedellos do Couto, Juan Antonio Ponce, Luis Anxo Rodriguez, Nanclares y Prieto, Quinta Milú, Rafael Palacios, Suertes del Marques, Telmo Rodriguez with Remelluri, Terroir al Límit and Zárate.

As well as the tasting, there will be three thought-provoking seminars exploring, among other issues, the concepts of terroir, appellation and the effects of climate change.

Spanish wine expert Amaya Cervera runs the website Spanish Wine Lover. She is a passionate spokesperson for wines from her home country, as well as being successful wine journalist. Amaya will host a seminar at Viñateros.

“I think there has never been such a wealth of quality Spanish wines around. The diversity of styles is really exciting. The world should realise this…  Most of them are widely unknown. They don’t fit the traditional idea most consumers have in their minds about Spanish wines. But it’s time to move ahead and show all the beauties Spain has to offer.”

It will be the first time such an incredible group of Spanish winemakers pours their wines in London under the same roof, and an event you definitely don’t want to miss.
