Can Ràfols dels Caus

Born out of a vision to make fine, age-worthy wines, Carlos Esteva began rebuilding his grandfather’s 17th century estate at the end of the 1970s. Can Rafols dels Caus covers around 450 hectares deep in the heart of the Garraf Massif, a rocky outcrop that forms part of the Catalan coastal mountain range. A key aspect of the production is that the wines are only released when ready to drink, which often means long ageing in bottle. Their new, modern winery is one of the most impressive we’ve ever seen.
