Archetipo | Ezio Poggio

Since 2003 Ezio Poggio and his team have been working with local farms in the Borbera Valley to reintroduce the native Timorasso grape in this unique maritime influenced microclimate.  In 2011 Terre di Libarna was recognised as part of Colli Tortonesi DOC. Ezio describes his top bottling Archetipo as: “a transparent expression of the land”. Intensely mineral and spicy it has a textured chalkiness, mouthwatering acidity and a long concentrated finish. It’s a versatile food wine and works beautifully with risotto, aged cheeses, white meat, seafood and fish.
