Made from one of the three indigenous grape varietals of Val do Salnes– Loureiro Tinto and Espadeiro being the other two—this constitutes somewhat of a cultural heritage project, as Zarate have some of the only remnant plantings of these once-dominant local varietals. Lots of bright red fruit and fresh acidity, complemented by well-integrated oak.
