El Castro de Valtuille Barrica | Castro Ventosa

A good example of traditional Bierzo, this is made from hand-harvested Mencía grapes fermented and aged for 12 months in oak. More complex and layered than the Jovén, but still fresh and savoury, with lots of fruit and a delicious mineral finish.
