Moscatel Viejísimo | Bodegas de la Riva

This very old Moscatel comes from a family reserve at Florido Brothers. The bodega was bought by Domecq in the 70s but family members managed to keep a couple of barrels from the Pico Plata vineyard. When De La Riva discovered them there were only 50 litres remaining. The wine is dark, almost opaque, with carob, coffee and incense on the nose, despite the age it retains a lively acidity and has an incredibly long finish.
