Oloroso Viejísimo | Bodegas de la Riva

This very old Oloroso comes from a solera at Cuvillo & Cía, in the 1980s the bodega fell on hard times and sent this solera as payment to an architect in Jerez, who left it untouched for 40 years. When De La Riva discovered it the volume had reduced by 50% due to evaporation, giving an incredibly intense and complex wine. These ‘forgotten’ wines are rare treasures, available in very limited quantities.
