Produced from a field blend of 100+ year-old vines. It’s impossible to classify the exact make-up but grapes such as Formosa Dourada, Vale Grosso, Manteúdo, Moscatel, that have all but disappeared from Portuguese viticulture form a significant percentage. Smoky with orange zest and a pleasant grippy texture which comes from the skin contact during fermentation in traditional stone lagars.
