Named after the red sandstone ‘Buntsandstein’ soils which are typical in the Pfalz. Vine roots penetrate deeply into the soil, giving characterful wines that with careful handling maintain their balance and purity. Buntsandstein has juicy apricots, refreshing acidity, and a fine minerality and texture which make it a great food wine.
