Visdom Chardonnay | Johan Vineyards

The Visdom (wisdom in Norwegian) bottling is a study of secondary and tertiary aromatic development in Chardonnay. The idea is that with extended aging prior to bottling there is a decline in fruit and an increase in vineyard expression. There is still plenty of fruit left in this wine though. There are lively and focused notes of citrus and pear on the nose, and the palate is textured and fresh. An incredibly complex and stylish Chardonnay.
