Luke sources his Chardonnay from the same vineyard as the Syrah, growing on a very thin top layer of volcanic soil over yellow clay with shattered rocks throughout. He follows his blueprint of whole-bunch pressing, wild-yeast fermentation, old oak, no temperature control, and zero fining and filtration to produce this incredibly elegant, pure and fine-tuned Chardonnay.
