País is often thought of as a grape used to make easy drinking, glou-glou wines; not so here. Domino del Cuarzo’s País comes from a single vineyard of centenary bushvines on black basalt volcanic soils. The result: a powerful, mineral expression of the grape with crushed rocks, red cherry and savoury wild herbs in abundance.
