After a warm year like 2017 ­the yeasts that appeared in the velo de flor were very intense, and the grapes are only capable of biological ageing for two years. After this the wine aged oxidatively giving the richer palma cortada style of wine. Smoky and salty, complex with some fresh citrus pith, spice and a very long finish.
