Pirrera | Eduardo Torres Acosta

A single site, on the north side of Mt. Etna. The name Pirrera comes from the rocky nature of the vineyard, caused by volcanic stones quarried from a 1614 lava flow. The site had been long abandoned until Eduardo took on its rehabilitation. A unique, perfumed red with an individual sense of place.
