Riesling Marienburg ‘Fahrlay’ Reserve GG | Clemens Busch

The name ‘Fahrlay’ combines “Fahr” for ferry and “Lay” for slate, possibly in reference to the fact that the Marienburg site is so steep, it can only be reached by boat! These blue slate soils give the wine a stunning mineral-driven and saline character.
