El Tòfol | Enclòs de Peralba

Macabeo isn’t renowned for producing exciting varietal wines, bar a few notable examples from Rioja (Lopez de Heredia, Allende), where the grape is called Viura. El Tófol is a parcel of old vines from the Gramona family estate, which Leo and Roc work biodynamically, and vinify with care to produce an elegant and textural white with lots of layers.
