Made from one of the three indigenous grape varietals of Val do Salnes– Caiño Tinto and Louireiro Tinto being the other two—this constitutes somewhat of a cultural heritage project, as Zarate have some of the only remnant plantings of these once-dominant local varietals. A wine characterized by its savoury rusticity and vibrant acidity.
