Breuer bought vineyards in Lorch in 2019, 16km from their home base in Rudesheim. The south-east facing sites on steep slopes attract the afternoon sun give fruit intensity and flavour ripeness into the grapes. Pfaffenwies Grand Cru is concentrated with beautifully integrated acidity, a gentle pithiness, great tension and a long finish.
