This extraordinary wine, from the oldest Chardonnay vineyard in the Limarí Valley, may well be the standard-bearer for Chardonnay grown in Chile. It’s deliciously textural, with a flinty and smoky nose, a nice balance of grapefruit, lemon peel, a chalkiness and long, concentrated, focused finish. It should age beautifully.
