Régnié | Julien Sunier

From a 4.5 hectare vineyard, two-thirds planted on granitic soils and one-third on alluvial soils, this wine beautifully showcases the strengths of both terroirs. Julien believes the granite contributes brightness, precision, and purity of fruit, while the alluvial soils add structure, depth, and complexity.

The combination results in a serious Cru Beaujolais with an inviting spicy nose, vibrant red fruit character, and a savoury mineral core. Fine-grained tannins provide elegance and definition, carrying the wine through to a long finish.
