If blind tasting you could be forgiven for placing Les Manyes in the Rhône or Piedmont - this elegant single-vineyard Garnacha is grown on clay soils rich in chalk, in the mountains above the village of Scala Dei. Perfumed, with a restrained ripeness, the palate mixes a chalky minerality with the juiciness of the Garnacha, giving a moreish blend of Mediterranean and Atlantic characters.
