The Trouble with Dreams | Sugrue South Downs

An electric wine that crackles with nervous, citrus-infused energy and bursts out of the glass. A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, from three vineyards 50% from Mount Harry, 30% from Coldhabour and 20% from Storrington Priory Vineyard. “Storrington has more roundness, structure, and weight, while Mount Harry is steely, linear, and pure,” Dermot says. It has intense flavours of lemon meringue pie, salted butter and brioche and some stony mineral notes on the finish.
