El Chupadero, comes from a site of the same name in the mid-region of La Geria, a volcanic caldera with craters up to 15 meters in diameter and up to 5 meters deep. This vineyard is planted exclusively with 100% Listán Blanco, an unusual choice for Lanzarote. The soil is volcanic in origin, specifically from an eruptive center or volcanic crater. The vineyard is set on ultramafic lava, rich in iron and magnesium, with a high percentage of olivine, contributing to the rofe (volcanic ash) and imparting a distinctive volcanic character. The soil, combined with the reductive nature of this unique volcanic environment, is fully expressed in the wine.
